The “Injury to Opportunity” Scholarship provides a benefit to the children of persons who have suffered or perished from a Personal Injury Accident, or a work related (Workers Compensation) injury. Applicants must apply before their 21st birthday; must have had a parent who suffered an injury, resulting in a permanent disability or wrongful death. Must have a high school diploma, GED, or be a high school student in good standing. Academic achievement, aptitude, extracurricular activities, and community service of the applicant are considered Award may be used for: Any undergraduate study Award may be used at: Vocational/Technical school, Two-year college, Four-year college Applicant must agree to allow E&T to use his/her name, photo and/or story in future scholarship materials
Applicant must include directions on how to submit the scholarship to their selected school! This should include: 1. Tuition acceptance deadline. 2. Best person to contact about scholarships for your program. 3. How we should write the check. 4. The address we should send the check to. Applicants who do not include directions will not be considered.
