Eligibility criteria are as follows: 1. Applicants must be U.S. citizens, currently enrolled in good standing at a U.S. institution of higher education (including both 2-year and 4-year institutions). 2. Applicants must have applied to, or been accepted into, a semester or academic year country-based study abroad program eligible for credit by the students home institution. Summer programs are not eligible. 3. Applicants must be receiving Federal Pell Grant funding, either at the time of application or time studying abroad. 4. The applicant cannot be studying in a country currently under a Travel Warning issued by the U.S. Department of State or in Cuba.
